Lisa and Derren were the cutest couple! Lisa came to us several months before her wedding with the most adorable idea for her invitations:
she wanted a “family tree” theme. Both her parents and Derren’s parents had been married for 20+ years, and they wanted to honor that amazing commitment and heritage, while also celebrating the new union being formed between the two of them. We designed a literal “family tree” invitation - with custom silhouettes of the bride and groom, as well as the two sets of parents. The silhouettes were nestled in the branches of the tree. In keeping with the “silhouette” theme, we also designed an adorable envelope flap - a little girl and boy on a bicycle. This helped to tie in the outside/whimsical/picnic feel of their wedding. The fact that they actually got married underneath a large beautiful tree on the Point Loma Nazarene University campus made everything come together perfectly.
