It is not often that you get to follow the bride through every step of her wedding. We had the HONOR of getting to do just that with our dear client.. and now our dear friend.. Emily Adamick. I have had so much fun plotting and planning her big day paper goods. Her invitations were so GLAMOROUS… They deserve a post all on their own.. So you only get a sneak peak of them for now too!!!! Emily and Eric..got married at the Hotel Del Coronado on June 26, 2010. Everything came together perfectly. Her photographer Jennifer Dery captured these beautiful images.. and Kathy Wright and Co. made the gorgeous floral arrangements. I cannot wait to see more pictures!! I hope you enjoy this sneak peak as much as Elizabeth and I did!!!

Here is just a little sneak peak of her invitation seal!!! More to come on that too!! This image was taken by Jackie Wonders.

Whenever the FABULOUS Candice or Jubilee Events asks us to help her with a shoot.. we instantly say yes.. I think the images her explain exactly why. Style me Pretty Posted it a few days ago.. and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Not only did the shoot actually take place in Costa Rica.. There is such a tropical feel to the shoot that MAKES you want to hop in a plane and fly there. All images were shot by the ever so talented Carla. I hope you enjoy these images as much as we do!!

Vaneesha was one of our sweetest brides.. and we were so excited when she emailed us today to let us know that she was featured in the knot north carolina! It is so exciting to think that we were feautred in a magazine so far away from sunny san diego. We are so excited to be featured with one of our most favorite weddings to date! Especially since it was right after Karrie’s heart… shilouettes!!

What little girl loves *orange*?! MINE. {elizabeth} Yes…ever since she could differentiate between colors, Hailey would choose orange. Every. Single. Time. So, naturally, when it came time for her party, she wanted a totally orange party. How could we make an orange party cute?!
Karrie and I were inspired by one of our *darling* brides who is doing a kite-themed wedding in July. We used that concept and made it more whimsical and child-like. We incorporated several patterns, so each invitation was slightly different - polka dots, gingham & a damask pattern…along with the darling kite and hand tied ribbons (all different too!). The invitations were finished off with an orange envelope with a cute sky blue address wrap. We tied in clouds and cute hand written symbols on the back of the invitation - to give it a spring-y and fun feel for a 3rd birthday!
The party was such a success! We had fun doing the “day of” paper pieces also. Of course we had to create custom water bottle labels, treat bag labels, a darling “kite” banner, and paper goods to list all of the yummy orange candies and treats to eat.

We were very honored to be featured on so many fun party blogs! Especially since Jackie Wonders took so many fabulous photos!! In total, Hailey’s party was featured on the following 4 blogs:
1. Hostess with the Mostess
2. Grey Likes Baby
3. The Tom Kat Studio
4. Cafe Mom
Happy Birthday, sweet little Hailey!

Karrie and I had *so* much fun in the big apple! We had an amazing time researching new vendors and attending the National Stationery Show. One of the highlights of our trip was visiting M&J Trimming - we were totally overwhelmed by the *rooms* and rows of ribbons, trims, embellishments and appliques. At the stationery show, we were in awe of Darcy Miller, editor of Martha Stewart Weddings, and had the privilege of hearing her speak about the upcoming stationery trends. We were excited to hear confirmation that we are on the cutting edge with everything we do! And…that very same afternoon, we were featured on the Martha Wedding Blog!
Besides the amazing show & the stores we visited…we did a *lot* of walking, shopping, and eating. =) K and i loved every minute of the time we spent in New York - and can’t wait to use the new materials and inspiration that we found at the show in our designs!

Merilee Hennings of Ever After Events had a great idea. Why not *give* each bride she meets with, something to take away (and be able to really *use*) and remember their consultation? She commissioned us to design the darling stationery for these little “give aways”. Using a “creme brulee” stock (shimmery taupe), we wanted to give something neutral enough that any bride would love it! We designed a cute little shimmery ivory notecard that says “A little note from the bride to be” - with fun little parentheses around the phrase. The envelopes are the creme brulee stock, and we packaged them in crystal clear envelopes, tied with a big checked taffeta bow. perfection!
If you haven’t heard of Ever After Events, check them out! Merilee (senior design diva) and her team are amazing event planners, with incredible attention to detail. They dream up the most unique and fun ideas…while keeping the style gorgeous and very elegant. We love working with Merilee and her girls…every event they design is truly magazine worthy!
