These are the most elegant save the dates that we have done to date. The good news is.. that they are for one of the most fabulous clients we have had as well! Our bride, Emily, and yes.. I will claim her as our own.. has an amazing eye for details. It completely shows in her Save the Dates.. and wait until you see her main invitations! We are whipping them up right now, and they are going to be gorgeous! The tiny details that we love on this save the date are the hand cut lace, the layers of textured paper, and the final touch of the thermography. We LOVE Emily’s Save the dates.. and we love her!!!!

Valentine’s Day might have been a week or so ago… but we are still feeling the love here at the Pyke Household! We had an amazing time have a POTLOVE.. I just think that getting your friends together and celebrating love ( and yummy food..) is just about the best thing ever! Check out the images.. the invite was as small folded card that gave each guest a feel of the menu.. and to let them know that we were having mimosas of course! I also made little potlove flags that flew above all the flowers.. and used the logo on the *love pictionary* cards.. which was pretty funny watching everyone try to capture phrases like “first date” haha.
We also pinned on paper hearts for the ladies.. just like in my favorite movie these days.. Julie and Julia! We were wearing the love!

Junior High sweethearts.. and now they are GETTING MARRIED! in style too! They have a great sense of style about them.. since the both have a flair for fashion.. and all things creative. It was so great brainstorming their wedding with them! I had Jackie Wonders click these fabulous images of our paper goods so that they did the postcard some justice! The ever talented Noa of feather love photography took so many beautiful images of their engagement. I can’t wait to see what their wedding images look like! Thanks to all who helped make this a super special post! I am working on their main invitations this week.. so get ready for a sneak peak! yipee!
Here is a sneak peek of *the* most amazing photo shoot we have had the pleasure of being a part of. Candice Downing Coppola of “Jubilee Events” is a creative genius, and orchestrated this incredible shoot in New Orleans. We had such an amazing time creating the paper goods for this shoot. Think blush pink, raspberry, ruffles and paper flowers… confetti, paper cones and a custom “Just Married” banner. Can’t wait to show you more of this awe-inspiring photo shoot! In the meantime, we leave you with just a little snippet…and the list of incredible vendors who participated in the fun!
The entire planning process took: 634 emails, 5 months of planning, 1 design board, 4 flights, 3 photographers, 3 bridal gowns, 6 pairs of shoes, 13 vendors from the state of Connecticut, one from Texas and one from California (Posh Paperie!), 4 models, a 5 piece New Orleans Jazz band!!!!

We love the simplicity and elegance of this gorgeous invitation set. The simple crane’s ecru stock and black ink speaks to a very traditional wedding…yet the fun and whimsical fonts give it a bit of a
“new” flare. We loved using a heavier stock, that didn’t even need a mount - and the scrolls and swirls gave the invitation its flavor.
The cute couple that matches the Bike Invites! This couple is honestly one of our most favorite and sweetest couples to date! We love everything about their wedding: think vintage fabrics and patterns…lots of fun colors (yellows, blues, rusts, )…throw in their love of bicycles and all things rustic and you can see why we love them! We think their invitation set is one of the cutest ones we’ve ever designed (if we can say that?!) - and we absolutely fell in love with their precious wording. With their wedding on a farm/ranch, and the fabulous girls of Carter and Cook Event Company planning the day, we just know this wedding is going to be one for the books.
